District Partnership Programs

District Partnership Programs

The Surrey School district offers over twenty District Partnership Programs to students who are interested in trades training or an academic program. District Partnership Programs provide students with an opportunity to earn credit toward graduation from secondary school at the same time as they are earning credit toward post-secondary programs.

District Partnership Programs are delivered in collaboration with local post-secondary institutes and industry training providers. While some of the dual credit programs have an academic focus, the Youth Train in Trades Programs enable students to begin training in specific trades.

Benefits to Students

  • Earn high school and post-secondary credits
  • Begin training for a career while still in high school
  • Acquire marketable skills
  • Save money.  Tuition is paid for by the Surrey School District
